What is a 'dream feed' and how do I do it?
A dream feed involves offering your baby a feed while they are still in a deep sleep, usually before you go to bed yourself, to help them sleep for a longer stretch. Simply pick your baby up gently without fully waking them, offer the bottle or breast, and allow them to feed until they stop active suckling. It is generally not necessary to burp a baby after a dream feed since they are relaxed, but you may keep them upright for a few minutes if they are prone to reflux.
