Handling toddler appetite and milk transitions

After age one, transition to whole cow's milk is common, though it should be limited (typically 300–500ml daily) to ensure your toddler still has enough appetite for solid, nutrient-rich meals. If your child seems to go through cycles of not eating or being 'hangry,' focus on nutrient-dense, savory foods and maintain a regular meal structure, allowing for natural fluctuations in appetite during illness or growth spurts.
