FAQ Feeding 1-2 years

How do I transition my 1-year-old to cow's milk?

Around 12 months, you can begin offering cow's milk plain in an open cup or straw cup to replace one formula feed at a time. It is helpful to introduce small amounts of cow's milk in cooked foods like porridge or pasta starting at 10-11 months to familiarize the baby with the taste. The recommended total dairy intake, including curd, paneer, and cheese, is about 400ml per day. Focus on building independence with an open cup or straw cup to eventually phase out bottles completely.
