How should I collect a stool sample for my baby’s lab test?

Doctors typically advise against collecting stool directly from a diaper. Instead, use a sterile container provided by the lab. A common trick is to line the inside of the diaper with cling film before the baby poops, then scoop the sample from there. Aim to get the sample to the lab within 30 minutes for the most accurate results.
