Is it normal for my baby to have mucus after a cold?

It is quite common for babies to have lingering mucus, especially in the days following a cold or nasal congestion. Parents often observe that symptoms flare up in the evenings or persist if the baby has had a blocked nose. While normal mucus is generally clear or white, always monitor for concerning signs and consult your pediatrician if you notice blood or if the mucus is accompanied by other worrying symptoms.
