FAQ Activities 3-6 months

Is it safe to take a 4-month-old into a swimming pool?

Yes, many parents introduce babies to water around 4-5 months old. Use appropriate swim diapers and, if available, a wetsuit to help the baby retain body heat, as they get cold quickly. Start with a gentle introduction—dipping feet or hands first—and always use a safe, age-appropriate baby floatie. Keep pool time short (around 15 minutes) and ensure the water quality is clear and clean before letting your baby splash around.
