FAQ Activities 3-6 months

When is it safe to take a baby swimming?

Many parents introduce their babies to water around 4-5 months of age. Always ensure you use swim-appropriate diapers and keep pool time short, as infants can lose body heat quickly. If you are using a hotel or public pool, ensure the water quality is clean and avoid keeping the baby submerged for more than 15-20 minutes at a time. It is generally not necessary to apply sunscreen to babies under 6 months; instead, prioritize shade and keep them covered.
