What should I know about using whey protein for my child?

It is generally not recommended to give children whey protein supplements. A child's nutritional needs are best met through a balanced diet consisting of whole foods like dairy, eggs, meat, lentils, and peas, which provide essential micronutrients that supplements often lack. Unless specifically advised by your pediatrician for a medical reason, it is better to skip protein powders and focus on providing nutrient-dense meals.
