When can my baby start using wooden blocks?
Babies often begin by knocking down towers built by adults, which is a normal part of their developmental exploration. Around the age of 12 to 14 months, children typically start to develop the fine motor skills and cognitive understanding required to attempt stacking blocks on their own. You can encourage this interest by modeling how to build small structures, but be prepared for plenty of enthusiastic destruction as they learn!
