Sudden, loud screeching or screaming is a very common developmental milestone around 7-9 months. Babies at this stage are discovering their vocal cords and experimenting with the different sounds they can make, which often sounds like loud shouting or 'dino' noises. As long as your baby is otherwise happy and healthy, it is usually just a phase of vocal exploration and will likely pass on its own after a few weeks.
