FAQ Feeding 6-12 months

Why is my toddler suddenly having a 'hunger strike'?

Sudden changes in appetite are common around 10 months and are often just a developmental phase. Teething, minor colds, or simply being more interested in playing than eating can temporarily reduce their food intake. Continue to offer balanced meals without pressure; this phase usually passes on its own. As long as your baby is active and meeting their other developmental milestones, try not to worry too much about short-term fluctuations in solid food consumption.
