FAQ Health 3-6 months

How can I comfort my 4-month-old baby during a cold?

When your baby has a cold, you can use saline drops in each nostril while they are awake to help clear their nasal passages and reduce irritation. Keeping your baby in an upright or inclined position while awake can also help with congestion. If you are also sick, wearing a mask while interacting with your baby can help reduce the transmission of germs. Be sure to watch for signs of respiratory distress, such as rapid or retracted breathing, and consult your pediatrician if you notice these symptoms.
