FAQ Feeding 6-12 months

Should I introduce six meals a day to my 7-month-old?

Pediatric nutrition experts generally advise against moving to six meals a day at 7 months. Breast milk or formula remains the primary source of nutrition until the first birthday, and over-feeding solids can lead to an aversion to food or picky eating habits later on. A gradual approach, starting with one meal in the 6th month and moving to two in the 7th month, is usually recommended. Focus on the quality and variety of the meals rather than the quantity.
